这一对 & 分享 program is less formalized than our official 辅导计划, typically, pairs in this program meet to solve specific challenges and share ideas in an informal, short-term setting.

Your advisor or advisee can be in the same city or on the other side of the world. You can sign up as both an advisor and an advisee at the same time, or just the one that fits your needs. Get the coaching you need and share your areas of expertise with others in this fun, interactive member-benefit program.

Success in 4 Easy Steps

Any ACTFL member can join the 一对 & 分享 program at any time throughout the year. One you enroll in the program, you'll fill out your expertise and interests fields and note whether you want to be an advisor or advisee, or are open to either role.

Step 1: Set up your 配置文件

完成你的 ACTFL中央 配置文件. Make sure your contact information is up to date, add a recent professional 配置文件 picture, expand on your bio and import your education and job history information from LinkedIn. Having a complete and accurate 配置文件 is crucial to the success of selection and matching. 配置文件完成? Return back to this page and move on to step 2.

第二步:注册!

Make selections for each of the program demographics to set your preferences. Demographics include languages, levels, skills, teaching styles and start/end date. Please note that some fields are required for enrollment. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to make the best match. Keep in mind in order to request an advisor or advisee, you must be enrolled in the program.

Step 3: Find your match

使用一对 & 共享目录 to input your search criteria. Start by selecting the topic(s) of interest which include:

You can also take advantage of features to help you find and recruit matches:

• Track your relationships
• Participate in discussion forums on coaching topics
• 搜索 for helpful advising resources

Step 4: Connect with your partner

祝贺你! 你都准备好了. You completed steps 1-3 and are now ready for the fun stuff. Let the coaching begin. Do one search or multiple searches. If you're unsure of the search criteria, select "搜索 for ALL of the selected values.“一对” & 共享目录 will do the work for you and populate the results.

Next click on the member's name that you're interested in establishing an advisor/advisee 连接ion with. The link will bring you to their 配置文件 page. 看看周围. If you think it's a desired match, look under their 配置文件 image for the 一对 & 分享 badge, which when clicked will allow you to request a 连接ion. If it's not a desired match, you can simply select the back button to return to your previous search results.
